Swiss artist Étienne Krahenbühl presents a contemplative exhibition of sculptural and mixed-media works that explore forms in motion and the generative forces of life. From earth and world emerge cracks, shifts and breaths that shape tensions and connections, underscoring our relationship with matter, nature and the human. The works mark passages between worlds and, through resonance, invite emotional and intellectual reflection on respect, singularity and coexistence.

Shadows have enabled many fundamental discoveries: the shape of the Earth, the calculation of its circumference, the identification of electrons, and the understanding of planetary motion. Industry in a Thousand Points

Quartier Libre SIG

Genevan artist Gérald Grosjean presents a focused series of paintings and handcrafted maquettes that examine industrial and railway landscapes. The show gathers twenty-seven canvases and three models made from reclaimed materials, emphasising a pointillist approach to structures such as stations, bridges, dams, factories and viaducts. Through meticulous dots and assembled found objects, Grosjean explores the aesthetic presence and collective memory of infrastructure, inviting reflection on material reuse and the visual poetry of engineered landscapes.

Le Commun

Le Palais des Tressaillements brings together a group of contemporary artists who examine the legacy and circulation of images. Through photography, installation, mixed media and archival practices, the exhibition investigates how visual cultures shape identities, memory and collective narratives. Works by Yvan Alvarez, Tim Bruggeman, Aline d’Auria, Lina Geoushy, Mårten Lange, Magdalena Wysocka and others propose strategies of appropriation, re-signification and poetic reassembly to resist dominant representations and to imagine alternative filiations.

Elise van den Brand: L’Objet d’Autrui (The Object of the Other)

Painter Elise van den Brand examines figurative painting and the dynamics of the gaze in a new body of work. Through cropped portraits and fragmentary compositions she interrogates the tension between how subjects intend to be seen and how viewers project narratives onto images. The exhibition draws on Sartre’s notion of le regard, explores social armour as protective presentation, and probes the instability that emerges when contextual markers are removed, exposing ambiguous subjectivities.

Traces of Presence gathers artists whose practices examine what remains beyond immediate visibility. Through painting, photography, abstraction and material transformation, the show explores presence as memory carried through matter, process and perception. Roxana Bergt reworks still-life into vessels of memory and resilience; José Yaruro reinterprets classical forms; Marie Deforche paints quiet moments of solitude. Luca Mancone repurposes receipts and thermal paper; Eilena Braye converts microscopic structures into vivid abstraction; Justyna Maria Porowska and Didier Van der Borght negotiate geometry, surface and imagined silhouettes.

Physis presents a two-person dialogue between sculptor Ernst Gamperl and the drawing practice of Shunshun. Gamperl’s internationally recognised sculptures, rooted in exceptional woodwork, explore growth, material presence and a generative life force. Shunshun’s delicate, layered line drawings shift from architectural training to intimate studies of spatial depth and quiet emotional resonance. Together the works consider intergenerational perspectives on form, technique and the elemental meanings of nature.
