This interactive memory challenge invites participants to test their memory while exploring practical ways to preserve biodiversity based on Geneva’s municipal strategy. Players match “before-and-after” images that illustrate individual and institutional actions, and each correct pair reveals concise information explaining the measure. The activity examines themes such as habitat restoration, species-friendly practices, urban greening and policy responses, helping participants understand the impact and rationale behind everyday and organisational conservation choices.

An interactive workshop that brings people together to prepare tamales collaboratively, exploring cooking as a space of oral transmission and collective practice. Participants will share techniques, stories and memories while learning the hands-on process of preparing and wrapping tamales and related regional variants. The session examines how recipes transform through migration and considers communal systems like the milpa—shared cultivation of maize, beans and squash—to reflect on food, identity and cultural memory.

La FanzinoGE collective leads a relaxed outdoor session dedicated to fanzines and hands-on badge making. Participants can explore a selection of independent zines, consult available materials and tools, and experiment with small-format publishing techniques. The workshop explains basic design and production steps for badges, including size and bleed considerations, and guides attendees through creating and finishing their own pieces. Suitable for beginners and experienced creators seeking practical skills and creative exchange.

Natacha, workshop facilitator, presents the main dye plants and their edible uses, and explains how they are identified and prepared for colouring.
