This concert pays tribute to Marcel and Catherine Cellier, pioneers in preserving Eastern European music and known for discovering artists like Gheorghe Zamfir and The Mystery of the Bulgarian Voices. Their son Alexandre, along with Dimitar Gougov and Ion Miu, honors this legacy through a blend of traditional styles and original compositions. The event is organized by the Ateliers d’ethnomusicologie and AMR, with support from the City of Geneva and the South Cultural Fund.

4 – 20 December

Inspector Reynolds returns to the Chelsea Hotel for a thrilling, final investigation, partnering with a different improvisational actor at each performance. Set in a festive yet mysterious atmosphere, this captivating whodunit allows every character to be a potential culprit. Created by the Compagnie lesArts and directed by Tony Romaniello, this unique show promises total immersion in a gripping crime story.

2 – 7 December

This evocative and musical performance project tells the poignant love story of Chess and Serena within the confines of a women’s prison. While in her cell, Chess uses singing as a means to escape reality, reflecting on her past, her crime, and her daughter. After Serena is released, Chess is left alone but finds solace and liberation through music composition, guided by Silver, a producer who conducts workshops in the prison. This narrative acts as a liberating incantation against isolation and confinement.

The Nouveau Jour Company presents a play as part of Plan-les-Ouates’ 2025-2026 Cultural Season. Yalda, born in Paris to Iranian refugee parents, shares their story of exile, their fight for freedom, and the hope of return. This narrative delves into the quest for identity and the burden of the past, reflecting the experiences of many Iranians who fled following the Islamic Revolution. Awarded the 2024 Molières for Private Theater and Best Female Revelation, the play raises universal questions about exile and identity.
