Explore nature through playful crafts, stories and hands-on games in a friendly creative space. Children discover leaves, textures, colors and simple natural objects, and they make small projects using movement, sound and bright colors. The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. In captivity, Janus receives attentive care, resulting in an impressive lifespan of 26 years.

7 – 17 April

Make a pocket almanac full of stories, drawings, crosswords, recipes and collectible postcards. In a series of workshops, participants experiment with printmaking techniques, play creative writing games and learn simple bookmaking methods to shape their own small journal. Sessions encourage playful collaboration, colourful illustrations and hands‑on discovery as children turn ideas into a printed object to share with family.

Explore a lively tale about a boy taken by salmon after he disrespected them. Observe a carved salmon-chief mask, then settle in to hear the story of Shanyaak’utlaax told with rhythmic voices and gentle music. Feel the splashy sounds, vivid colors of the mask, and the hush of listeners as Alaska’s indigenous sounds wash over you. Children will listen, imagine scenes, and connect stories to sounds and objects.

10 December – 15 April

Help a friendly witch who has lost her magic and needs children’s help to bring it back. Through short sung scenes and playful piano accompaniment, little ones discover melodies by Purcell, Offenbach, Mozart and Grieg, sing simple refrains and take part in interactive musical games. The show is brief and hands‑on, encouraging imagination, listening and movement, and ends with a short questions‑and‑answers moment with the performers. Organised by the Grand Théâtre de Genève.

Sing and listen in a playful workshop led by a professional opera singer. Children discover the secrets of singing through games, breathing exercises, and short songs. They practice matching pitch, shaping phrases, and blending voices while moving to rhythms and exploring bright and warm tones. Simple activities with clapping, echoing, and group pieces boost confidence, attention, and creativity, helping each child find their voice in a joyful musical atmosphere.
