A portly, babbling storyteller and his wiry, wordless accomplice hurtle us through a riotous, cross-European chase—on wheels, wings and even a mule—using nothing but their bodies, break-neck timing and a phalanx of 150 cardboard boxes. While the seated narrator spins tall tales in mock-Shakespearean gibberish about an ill-fated ancestor fleeing a siren’s curse, his restless partner frantically shapes every landscape, character and prop, crashing slapstick into stillness and cartoon into craft.
