Three evening sessions offer a practical introduction to theatrical improvisation for participants aged 16–21. Through warm-ups, ensemble games and scene work, participants learn listening, spontaneity, character creation and narrative development. The workshop examines techniques for building trust, managing stage presence and responding collaboratively in the moment. Participants develop creative confidence, quick-thinking skills and tools for ensemble storytelling while exploring playful approaches to risk and performance.

Our Biodiversity: Memory game

This interactive memory challenge invites participants to test their memory while exploring practical ways to preserve biodiversity based on Geneva’s municipal strategy. Players match “before-and-after” images that illustrate individual and institutional actions, and each correct pair reveals concise information explaining the measure. The activity examines themes such as habitat restoration, species-friendly practices, urban greening and policy responses, helping participants understand the impact and rationale behind everyday and organisational conservation choices.

Protecting Endangered Cultural Heritage

Gala-Alexa Amagat, project officer at the ALIPH Foundation; Béatrice Blandin, conservator of archaeology at the Musée d’art et d’histoire de Genève; and Palestinian archaeologist Fadel Al Utol bring frontline experience in safeguarding endangered cultural heritage.

Through screenings of three short films and a subsequent panel, the session examines strategies for protecting cultural property in armed conflict, exploring documentation, emergency intervention, and international collaboration with case studies from Ukraine, Mosul and Gaza.
