Adieu Claude is a power trio that channels the energy and freedom of classic three-piece bands. The three musicians—Christophe Chambet (electric bass, vocals), David Koch (electric guitar, vocals, modular synthesizer) and Valentin Liechti (drums, sampler, vocals)—fuse songs, noise, jazz and rock into an explosive, improvisatory mix. References to Marc Ribot, Jimi Hendrix and Melody Nelson inform a gritty, vintage sound palette, while raw textures, dynamic interplay and bold timbres create a charged, intoxicating atmosphere.
