Théâtre LE POCHE is an intimate Old Town theatre in Genève dedicated to contemporary playwriting and new creations. It programs bold, text-driven performances by living authors, hosting local and regional productions in a compact, engaged space that fosters dialogue between artists and audiences and supports experimental theatrical approaches.
Directed by Anne Schwaller and written by Pascal Rambert, Huitante stages a violent, intimate encounter between two sisters whose long silences explode into raw language and sudden tenderness. Marie Druc and Caroline Gasser deliver a mercilessly honest performance that alternates cruelty and care, exposing childhood grudges and fragile attempts at repair. The production relies on stripped-down staging and concentrated acting to create a charged atmosphere of conflict and possible reconciliation.

Directed by Jonas and Paola Pagani, Amours racines gathers eleven performers from migratory backgrounds to share intimate portraits of Geneva through speech, memory and humour. Dramaturgy by Valentine Sergo shapes personal fragments into a nuanced ensemble piece; live music by Ismael Kord and Guillaume Lagger punctuates scenes while Claire Firmann’s lighting, Muriel Décaillet’s scenography and Samantha Landragi’s costumes frame shifting memories. Produced in partnership with AMIC, the work blends testimony, wit and sensitive staging to observe belonging and urban life.

Directed by Anne Schwaller, Amours tendres stages a brutal reunion between two sisters, Marina and Audrey, whose long‑buried resentments explode into fierce, intimate exchanges. The performances of Marie Druc and Caroline Gasser render a raw emotional landscape, supported by Schwaller’s stark scenography and Philippe Sireuil’s atmospheric lighting. Sandra Pellet’s costumes and careful production frame a tense exploration of childhood wounds, cruelty and the fragile possibility of reconnection.
