The Théâtre du Loup, established in Geneva in 1978, is a dynamic independent company with a 200-seat theater in the Vernets-Acacias neighborhood. It produces around twelve performances annually, prioritizing original works, and runs a theater school for children and teenagers. Known for its creativity and dedication to both children’s and adult theater, the company also features the MUZOO, a collection that showcases its scenic creations.
Radio-driven performative fiction that imagines a future eco-dictatorship in 2345, where humans are temporarily caged to allow soil regeneration and the emergence of the Symbiocene. Commissioned within the 6th Biennale intrépide, the piece stages a collective narrative created through workshops with young people, adults and families. Performed with radio interventions and subtle staging, it blends speculative storytelling, communal voices and ritual gestures to provoke reflection and gentle humour.

Directed by Filippo Filliger and written by Dorothée Thébert and Filippo Filliger, this theatrical piece follows Agathe’s encounters with the primeval Białowieża forest, where trees and animals spoke in her dreams until a border wall silenced them. Performers Coline Bardin, Charlotte Dumartheray, Lara Khattabi and Aline Papin weave testimony from activists and aid workers into a lyrical investigation of migration, political violence and environmental rupture. Jessica Decorvet’s scenography frames a fragile landscape that seeks to recover the forest’s voice.

Gathered around a fire, this workshop invites participants to reconnect with woodland knowledge and practical skills through short initiations led by local associations. Activities focus on traditional crafts, nature observation and hands-on techniques that encourage collective learning and stewardship of natural environments. Suitable for young people and adults who wish to explore ecological practices in a convivial, outdoor-inspired setting.

Cirque Inextremiste leads a practical circus workshop linked to their show Extrêmités. Participants explore fundamental techniques — balance, acrobatics, juggling and partner work — through playful exercises and collective creation. The session examines physical awareness, safety and ensemble coordination while encouraging individual expression and creative risk-taking. Suitable for all ages from 6, the workshop asks participants to wear loose clothing and suitable shoes.

Created by the collective Cirque Inextremiste, Extrêmités is a wildly physical and darkly comic circus piece. Three performers invent a world of precarious balance, juggling tilted planks, teetering constructions and the menace of gas bottles. The staging trades traditional circus apparatus for domestic debris, turning each fall into a choreographed collapse that questions fragility, trust and collective dependence. Raw, poetic and unsettling, the show was presented in connection with the Out of the Box biennale.

Sur les planches is a biennial creation by the school’s young performers, directed by Iria Diaz, Lou Golaz, Lola Gregori, Joël Hefti, Marie Probst, Lola Riccaboni and Jérôme Richer. The programme gathers short pieces conceived with the students, blending theatrical play, ensemble work and stagecraft. Janice Siegriest contributed artistic collaboration and props; Stéphane Charrier and Michel Guibentif created the lighting; Maria Muscalu designed costumes. The project emphasises learning through performance, shared presence and collective storytelling.
