Salle Trocmé is a flexible parish performance hall in Geneva used for concerts, recitals, theatre, and community events. Renovated with modern technical equipment and noted for its good acoustics, it hosts conservatory recitals, chamber music and visiting ensembles, serving as an accessible cultural hub for local and city programming.
Led by four young players, the Hermione Quartet presents a programme juxtaposing Haydn’s Op.20 No.4 and Mendelssohn’s Op.44 No.3, exploring classical clarity and romantic lyricism. The performers favour sparkling ensemble, precise articulation and buoyant energy, delivering music with youthful vivacity and refined interplay. Subtle shaping and dynamic contrasts reveal emotional depth beneath virtuosic textures. The musicians also offer listening supplements to guide newcomers, creating an intimate and engaging sonic experience.
