Les Salons is a historic theatre and cultural foundation in Geneva offering performances, concerts, lectures and room rentals. The venue comprises a 167-seat theatre and an ornate baroque‑renaissance salon used for intimate concerts, masterclasses and conferences. It preserves local heritage while supporting emerging artists and community cultural programming.
Pianist Vanessa Wagner leads an evening devoted to female composers, alternating recital and musical dialogue. The programme opens with mezzo-soprano Valérie Eickhoff and pianist Eleanora Pertz exploring works by Nadia and Lili Boulanger, Florence Price and Margaret Bonds, tracing artistic friendships that shaped musical voices. In the second half, Wagner navigates contemporary repertoires by Meredith Monk, Caroline Shaw and Camille Pépin, highlighting daring, renewed textures. Intimate and luminous, the performance balances historical depth with spontaneous encounters.
