La Collective is an innovative space in the heart of Geneva dedicated to gender equality and inclusion. Designed as both a welcoming hub and a social innovation lab, it will bring together associations, cultural activities, workspaces, and services for women and gender minorities upon reopening. Open to everyone, La Collective aims to foster connections, support local initiatives, and contribute to a more inclusive and equitable society.
Join a day of collective creation and discovery around the removal of a large urban textile. Visitors can explore the site, meet the architects Liengme and Mechkat during guided tours, and take part in creative workshops and performances with Fifille, Atelier K, Woman Cave and Klimte. There are also short poetic consultations. Open to everyone, the project invites neighbours and curious people to share skills, conversations and creative experiments in a welcoming community spirit.
Contemporary dance company Cie C2C invites racialized women* aged 18 and over to a series of participatory workshops exploring the theme of body-history. Led by Karin Rose, a company dancer, the sessions provide a reflective space for embodied exploration, collective sharing and creative practice around bodily memory and inherited narratives. Participants draw on diverse cultural movement traditions and artistic practices to investigate how personal and collective histories shape the body and expression.
