Created and performed by Gentiane Pierre and Noémie Lamour with their company Mise à Feu, Diva Syndicat surveys a millennium of women’s music from Hildegarde of Bingen to contemporary popular voices. The theatrical musical act mixes burlesque humour, character-driven staging and musical reinterpretation as the duo inhabits forgotten composers and performers. Combining theatrical invention, vivid costumes and playful choreography, the show offers an agile, sensual and political celebration that restores the presence of women in Western musical heritage.

After Amadou’s death, Mariam’s voice has acquired a new depth. Born in Bamako, she met Amadou at the Institut des jeunes aveugles, and together they formed a long-standing artistic duo that produced songs now part of the collective memory, from «Je pense à toi» to «Beaux Dimanches». On stage with her musicians, Mariam keeps their heritage alive while presenting material from her recent album L’Amour à la folie, creating a luminous and sensitive celebration.

22 – 31 January

Directed by Bastien Blanchard and Olivier Kessi of the Frei Körper Kompanie, this reworking of Molière’s classic blends theatre and live music to place L’École des femmes in contemporary society. Arnolphe’s attempt to keep Agnès in ignorance collides with the comic absurdity of her guardians and the disruptive arrival of Horace. The staging highlights power, fear and the mechanisms that confine women through physical performance and evocative musical textures.

3 – 7 February

Follow Roulotte, a small red, round cart that rolls into a village where everyone has an opinion. Through object theatre and gentle movement, the story invites very young audiences to watch how Roulotte tries on different shapes and behaviours, hears playful sounds, and discovers the courage to be herself. Bright colours, rhythmic motion and close-up storytelling engage children’s senses and imagination in a tender, joyful fable about acceptance and difference.

Swiss composer Yael Miller blends voice and analogue synthesizers to create an intimate, cinematic pop world. Inspired by superheroes and poetry, her latest album Fairuz (March 2025) explores the many faces of love — passion, romantic friendships, separation, pressures around motherhood and fleeting moments — through Hebrew, English and French vocals. On stage she weaves electronic textures with brass, drums and bass to evoke dreamlike, orientally inflected atmospheres. Opening acts: Laure Betris and Yann Hunziker reinterpret Swiss vocal traditions and endangered languages.

Thursday 25 March, 20:00

A diptych of two linked plays, this evening mixes sharp family comedy with tragi‑comic romance. In the first piece, a stand‑up’s return to a tense mother’s celebration unsettles an apparently ordinary gathering, letting repressed resentments surface in a cruel yet liberating crescendo. The second instalment follows the same characters five years later in a frantic race to prevent a wedding, blending farce and melancholic reflection. The staging favours intimate ensemble interactions and wry observational humour, in the vein of Agnès Jaoui and Jean‑Pierre Bacri.
