The Minoteries municipal library is located just off rue de Carouge. Throughout the year, it offers a variety of events, including lectures, readings, author meet-and-greets, workshops, and storytelling sessions. The librarians also organize discovery sessions with selected video games, providing visitors with a mix of cultural and recreational activities.
Follow Roz, a shipwrecked robot, as she learns to survive on a wild island. She explores sandy beaches, tangled forests, and strange animal sounds. Watch friendships grow as Roz discovers how to move, listen, and care. She adopts an orphaned gosling and learns what it means to belong. This gentle tale uses images and emotion to tell a story about nature, change, and friendship — bright scenes, soft noises, and warm moments.

The session invites participants to draft an introspective letter to themselves, creating a breathing space to pause, examine past experiences and future wishes, and set personal intentions on the page. At the end, envelopes are sealed with wax.

Watch gentle animated shorts where grandparents guard memory, tenderness and family traditions. Films flow with soft voices or no words, painted in warm colors and simple movements. Children will follow everyday gestures, laugh at small surprises, and feel the rhythm of music and whispered sounds. Each story reveals caring ties between generations and sparks curiosity about memories, stories and shared routines. The mood is calm, bright and full of tiny, moving details.
