Each year the programme supports exhibitions, a collected volume of texts, an annual prize and a call for archive and memory projects, while coordinating month-long activities that recognise diverse experiences. Open to everyone, it brings together community members, researchers and cultural partners to preserve stories, foster dialogue and strengthen communal ties across generations.

Three days of music, dance, theatre and intercultural exchange in the heart of Les Pâquis. Join us at Temple des Pâquis for live performances, workshops and inspiring conversations celebrating art and togetherness.

2 – 3 Octobre

Afrik Rire brings together established and emerging comedians from the French‑speaking African and Afro‑descendant communities for two evenings of comedy and cultural exchange. Open to everyone, the festival showcases diverse voices, stories and styles, creating a welcoming space for shared laughter and conversation. Organized by a Geneva-based non-profit, the programme highlights contemporary African creativity while fostering connections between artists and audiences across cultures. The event celebrates humour as a means of expression and community.

Join a free outdoor day of community gatherings and performances celebrating local life. Everyone is welcome to enjoy live music, dance and street theatre, playful machines and a cine‑concert, a spontaneous orchestra, clowns and roaming musicians, a 3v3 basketball tournament, a bike workshop, association stalls and all‑styles dance battles. The program mixes shows, workshops and opportunities to meet neighbors and local groups, fostering connections, creativity and shared moments across generations.
