Les frustrés / Claire Bretécher

Adapted from Claire Bretécher’s eponymous comics and directed by José Lillo, Les frustrés stages a sequence of incisive scenes exploring recurring social relationships: friends, men among themselves, couples and evening gatherings. The quartet of performers — Élodie Bordas, Mélanie Foulon, Felipe Castro and David Gobet — navigate a compact, everyday dramaturgy where sharp comic critique reveals intimate and ideological contradictions. Rinaldo Del Boca’s lighting sculpts the domestic textures of each episode, balancing wit and critical observation.

Dogfight is a musical set in 1960s America on the eve of young Marines’ departure for Vietnam. The plot follows Eddie Birdlace, whose cruel ‘dogfight’ gamble is upended when he meets Rose, an idealistic and sincere young woman. Over a single night, the production confronts themes of masculinity, violence and empathy, blending gritty social realism with moments of tenderness. Sparse staging and intimate musical numbers highlight a painful coming-of-age and the possibility of moral change.
