From Bogotá, Ghetto Kumbé are a trio of singer‑shamans and virtuoso percussionists who fuse electro‑Caribbean beats, techno, house and Afro‑Colombian and West African rhythms into a ritual of dance and trance. Their mesmerising grooves shift between chant and propulsive percussion, creating a physical, communal atmosphere that channels collective vibration and festive resistance. Live, the trio prioritises deep rhythmic immersion and political urgency, inviting bodies into a cathartic, transformative sound experience.
Caustic Sunsets is an intense, intimate performance exploring heat, decay and late-day tension through layered sound and stark visual choreography. Sparse staging and abrasive sonic textures create a slow-burning atmosphere where silence and sudden crescendos converse. The work focuses on physicality, shadow and the poetics of decline, inviting the audience into a concentrated sensory experience that lingers beyond the lights.
An evening that moves between dance and live music, guided by instructors Claire Rufenacht and Pedro Ratto. Their approachable initiation opens a space for beginners to find tango’s intimate rhythms, followed by a concert from El Revire Duo whose guitar and bandoneon weave warm, melancholic melodies.
