Fourth State of Water: the Woman

Charlotte Qin and Tessel van der Putte present an exhibition of porcelain installation and paintings that treats water as both element and metaphor. Curated by Frédéric Elkaïm, the works shift the focus from control and extraction toward ecological, emotional and feminine inquiry. A central porcelain installation evokes aquatic creatures and the fluid forms of coral and blossom, while paintings explore the body as a permeable landscape, probing materiality, vulnerability and collective care.

Luca Mancone repurposes receipts and thermal paper; Eilena Braye converts microscopic structures into vivid abstraction; Justyna Maria Porowska and Didier Van der Borght negotiate geometry, surface and imagined silhouettes.

Chris Lovasoa Kauffmann presents a new body of work that explores architectural form and symbolic resonance through sculpture, painting and installation. Minimal geometries and textured surfaces negotiate scale and monumentality, while layered materials and subtle color shifts invite reflection on construction, memory and cultural lineage. The works balance rigorous formalism with tactile evidence of process, proposing an austere yet intimate meditation on how built forms shape perception and collective narratives.

Artist Lou Cohen presents a body of work that dialogues between still and moving images. Her practice employs irony and darkly comic tones to translate everyday reality and prompt critical reflection. The works explore perception, narrative tension and the theatrical potential of materials, inviting careful viewing and reconsideration of what images can reveal.

Artist Gautier Hardy presents ‘Kids Garden’, a series of works that inhabit a territory between childhood and the adult world. Through open diary fragments and an instinctive plastic language that draws from art brut, street art and neo‑expressionism, the exhibition brings together paintings, drawings and mixed‑media pieces. The works explore memory, play, and the uneasy passage to adulthood, using gestural mark‑making and raw materials to evoke intimacy and emotional intensity.
