Choreographed by Anne Nguyen, Witch Hunting brings six dancers—steeped in krump, popping and urban and traditional African forms—into a raw yet precise confrontation. On a stripped stage each body asserts singularity and is then swept into collective dynamics, oscillating between dominance and dissent. Inspired by persecutions and the figure of the scapegoat, the piece probes collective fears while an original score of percussion, prepared piano and krump textures underscores a visceral, brotherly call to diversity.
