Performed by Jean Charmillot and Jérôme Galan, Vol d’usage pairs a bicycle and aerial straps in a poetic, acrobatic theatre. The duo replays the stages of a fall — impact, suspended time and the strange sensation of flying before the crash — probing bodily memory, the precision of gesture and the pull of gravity. With disarming simplicity and high-level technique, the piece creates an intimate, tender and virtuoso universe where acrobatics become caress.
Led by Simone Aubert’s live music, this circus-music piece features acrobats for whom aerial suspension is second nature. Against an original score, performers defy gravity to weave a precise airborne choreography that balances tension and lyricism. The intimate creation (2026) lasts about 30 minutes and is designed for a family audience, suitable from age 3. The presentation blends musical texture and physical poetry without dialogue.
Variations Musicales de Tannay presents a ten-day classical music festival offering a series of tented concerts featuring invited soloists, chamber ensembles, orchestral projects and family-friendly performances. Directed and choreographed by Nicolas Barry, La Demande d’asile stages the brutality of the asylum procedure through the bodies and voices of two performers, Sophie Billon and Nangaline Gomis. Performed and choreographed by Lisa Laurent, this solo performance is a choreography of grief. Semi-nude and accompanied only by a small table and a microphone, Laurent gives herself over to inconsolable lamentations: her movements are laboured, as if mired in her own tears, and each attempt to regain composure falters. The piece interrogates vulnerability and the grotesque dimensions of sadness, gradually collapsing the distance between performer and audience to create a space where private fragility can be looked at and shared.

Pankaj Tiwari weaves memory, testimonies and music into The Harvest of Broken Promises, a politically charged performance that questions how agricultural progress reshapes ecosystems and rural life. Combining storytelling, folk song and myth, Tiwari performs a decolonial ecology that foregrounds farmers’ voices and resilient practices. The work blends sensitive dramaturgy with documentary rigor, creating intimate tableaux that move between lament and hope. A 2026 creation supported by the Delegation of Flanders to Geneva.
Scène Vagabonde’s seventh edition brings a compact program of contemporary theatre and music, presenting three contrasting stage works — “Par le bout du nez”, “Quadrille” and “Prima facie” — alongside a concert by Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp as part of La Bâtie-Festival de Genève.
