Revealed in 2009 by the hit « Like a Hobo », Charlie Winston, the most francophile of British singers, presents a unique solo acoustic evening. After seventeen years with his band he strips his songs back, offering intimate, raw and tender interpretations of his best-known tracks alongside rare or never-before-played pieces and songs from his sixth album Love Ain’t Easy. The performance balances emotion and surprise, with spontaneous interactions and a contagious energy that brings the artist close to his audience.

Told as a solo performance, this piece follows a woman as she remembers the films that shaped her life and blurs the line between cinema and memory. Through references to science-fiction sagas and cinematic archetypes — the woman-soldier, the survivor, the reluctant mother — the show probes identity, fear of change and the ways stories migrate from screen to skin. Sparse staging and intimate narration create a haunting, introspective atmosphere.

Friday 9 October, 20:00

Directed by Jérémy Guérard, La femme parfaite traces a daughter’s confrontation with her dying mother and the inherited patterns that bind three generations of women. Through intimate staging, moments of therapy and delicate origami sequences, the production untangles memory, family conditioning and desires for emancipation. The piece weaves ghosts of the past into a portrait of love and liberation, pairing rigorous dramaturgy with emotional clarity. The performance is followed by a discussion with the audience.

With caustic wit and sharp storytelling, Yoanna Sallese explores how to take life lightly amid pressures and setbacks. Her stand-up blends observational comedy about love, ghosting, failure and fragile convictions with a warm, resilient voice that invites laughter and release. A former journalist turned comedian, she was selected by Le Point-Virgule and featured at Montreux Comedy Pop Up; she has opened for Thomas Wiesel and Marina Rollman.

Music and songs by Stephen Sondheim with a libretto by George Furth and a French translation by Stéphane Laporte. This intimate, razor-sharp musical follows Robert (Bobby), a charming New Yorker confronting bachelorhood, friendship and the compromises of coupledom. The production blends incisive lyrics, lively choreography and a close ensemble cast to reveal joyful neuroses, hidden desires and fragile bonds. The staging alternates warmth and irony, inviting reflection on love, loneliness and the elusive art of staying together.

Sung in English; dialogues in French.
