After 13 years, the duo The Dreams — Armelle and Nafi — return to the stage with a brief reformation revisiting songs from Heimat, Noir Boy George, Crack und Ultra Eczema, Badaboum, Scorpion Violente and Le Chômage. Their sound blends cold‑wave textures with tropical grooves and reggae undertones, evoking connections to Suicide, Slits, Sonic Youth, Bob Marley and The Police. Their sole album Morbido (2011), reissued by Replica Records/La face cachée, frames a dark, luminous minimal pop.
Text by Alain Guyard, Sacco & Vanzetti is a tense two-hander performed by Jean‑Pierre Bugnon and Sylvain Bugnon under the direction of Pierre Lericq. The piece reconstructs the 1927 trial and execution of Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti, exploring themes of injustice, xenophobia and political manipulation. Sparse staging, precise physicality and a gallery of corrupt witnesses and officials create a claustrophobic atmosphere that interrogates power, prejudice and the costs of dissent.

Le train, directed by Joséphine de Weck and produced by Opus 89, stages a tense solo journey of a woman fleeing a controlling relationship. The text, breathless and fragmentary, follows her search for refuge as it probes longing, codependence and the politics of care. The staging is intimate and sensory, combining sparse language with live sound. The programme also includes a writing workshop and a concert by L’Amour du ciel.

Are Demons Among Us? Berbiguier de Terre-Neuve du Thym was a French citizen from Avignon who, after having his cards read by a fortune-teller, began to see malevolent beings all around him, whom he called “goblins.” The delusion lasted his entire life. His book on demons is an impressively detailed work, written in a rich literary style and containing utterly bizarre content—both pathetic and unintentionally comical.
It constitutes the most complete account of the inner world of a man gripped by profound madness. It was rediscovered in the following century by the Surrealists, notably Raymond Queneau, as well as by enthusiasts of outsider art. The performance will be a montage of the very words of this famous “literary madman” and will offer the audience a journey into the labyrinth of his thoughts.

Across sessions he examines strategies for transcription and arranging repertoire for guitar, demonstrating techniques and pedagogical approaches for adapting music from other media. The programme balances performance and hands-on learning, offering participants insight into artistic and technical decisions in arrangement practice.

Mario Diament’s text, adapted by André Nerman, traces a forbidden love between a philosopher and his student, probing complicity, memory and the struggle to reconcile heart and conscience. Sabrina Martin and Frank Semelet inhabit the roles with spare, intense performances, supported by a precise, austere mise en scène that foregrounds emotional conflict and ethical ambiguity.
