The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. In captivity, Janus receives attentive care, resulting in an impressive lifespan of 26 years.
Join the OSR for a delightful family concert that introduces Mozart with humor and storytelling. Led by Zofia Kiniorska, featuring Annia Losey on oboe and narrator Marion Fontana, the orchestra performs excerpts from “The Magic Flute,” “Don Giovanni,” and the “Rondo alla turca,” among others. Activities mix hands-on making, bright fabrics, and soft sounds to encourage trust and communication. Children work in small age groups to explore feelings, build confidence, and practice speaking about emotions in a calm, caring space.
