Trio Trinacria, together for over twenty years, channels exuberant, humorous energy in Tu comu stai?, a programme of Sicilian songs that bridge oral tradition and contemporary sensibilities. Vocal lines and spirited rhythms—ciaramella, zampogna, chitarra battente, tammorra and frame drums—unfold tales of love, life, death, exile and rebellion. Special guest Lorella Monti adds voice, percussion and dance, deepening the theatrical pulse. The performance invites a sensory journey to Sicily through voice, dance and vibrant acoustic textures.

Led by conductor Oleg Kaskiv with virtuoso violinist Roby Lakatos, this charity concert presented by Fondation Patiño traces a kaleidoscopic programme from Grieg and Sarasate to Saint-Saëns and Wieniawski, weaving classical forms with folk, klezmer and tango. An Alpine Requiem

In a Swiss adaptation of Georg Büchner’s novella “Lenz,” this musical ceremony delves into themes of loss and mourning. Three musicians pay tribute to the character Lenz, set against a backdrop reminiscent of mountains and an inner void. Blending the Alpine horn, folklore, and Fauré’s Requiem with Büchner’s words, the event explores madness, brotherhood, and hope. Through inner landscapes and traditional sounds, the celebration gently illuminates human fragility.

Le Tartuffe

Molière’s Tartuffe tells the story of a slick con-man who hides behind ostentatious piety to worm his way into the wealthy Orgon household. Orgon, dazzled by Tartuffe’s sanctimonious rhetoric, defends him even as the impostor’s hypocrisy poisons family bonds and pushes the household toward ruin.

Director Jean Liermier underscores how, in Molière’s work, the female characters serve as the moral compass and spark of resistance, a beacon of hope against oppression. Staged on a stark, minimalist set that exposes the family’s rigid tensions—and featuring Gilles Privat as an unbending Orgon—this production highlights the play’s continuing resonance in a world beset by egotism, fanaticism, and conspiracy thinking. The central question remains timeless: will society keep falling for Tartuffe’s brand of seductive deceit?

As part of the cultural season in Plan-les-Ouates, the Puck Collective presents a historical drama based on testimonies from Burkina Faso and Switzerland. The story follows Aminata, who ventures to Burkina Faso after her mother’s passing to uncover her past, intricately linked to the assassination of President Thomas Sankara. Immersed in a popular uprising, Aminata navigates a landscape of hope and uncertainty while confronting the hidden aspects of her personal history. The performance delves into Sankara’s legacy and raises questions about the future of coming generations.

Choreographed by Jolie Ngemi, Mbok’Elengi transforms the stage into a street: five dancers reimagine Congolese dances, notably the exuberant sebene style. The piece blends contemporary movement and Congolese roots, building cultural bridges through ritual, celebration and resistance. Scenography and lighting shape an ecstatic group party that oscillates between revolt and dream, inviting physical joy and collective catharsis. The performance is non-verbal and driven by rhythm, gesture and communal energy.

Revived by director Ninon Fachard after the original staging by Véronique Ros de la Grange, this solo piece stars Jacques Michel with Caroline Gasser as the prompter. Lighting by Rinaldo Del Boca and music by Alain Lamarche carve intimate, shadowed spaces around a red sequined curtain. Makeup by Natalia Lepianka and costumes by Emilie Revel shape the fading glamour of a music‑hall star who soliloquises, recalls past glory and loss, and sings in playback—an inward plunge toward memory and survival.
