A quartet of guests of honour — journalist Laure Adler, press cartoonist Patrick Chappatte, poet Hélène Dorion and novelist Douglas Kennedy — brings diverse literary and cultural perspectives.

The programme examines contemporary literature through panels, debates, readings and signings, exploring themes of language, authorship and cultural exchange. Hundreds of authors and exhibitors present new work and stimulate critical conversation on literature’s social and aesthetic roles.

The discussion delves into contemporary approaches to bookmaking, exploring archival materials, imagery, narrative, and editorial structures.

This interactive memory challenge invites participants to test their memory while exploring practical ways to preserve biodiversity based on Geneva’s municipal strategy. Players match “before-and-after” images that illustrate individual and institutional actions, and each correct pair reveals concise information explaining the measure. The activity examines themes such as habitat restoration, species-friendly practices, urban greening and policy responses, helping participants understand the impact and rationale behind everyday and organisational conservation choices.
