The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. Share gentle moments of language and imagination with your child in monthly gatherings of songs and picture books. Sessions invite parents and caregivers to explore rhymes, images and short tales in a cosy, relaxed setting. Activities stimulate listening, early vocabulary and creative play through repetition, movement and tactile books. Parents receive simple guidance to use songs and images to spark conversation and nurture curiosity and a love of paper books.

Saturday 14 February, 10:00, 11:30 & 14:30

Listen to a Chinese tale, then create a paper dragon bursting with bright colors. Sit close to hear the storyteller’s warm voice as the dragon’s shapes and movements come alive. Decorate, fold and assemble your dragon from paper, giving it a long body to wave and twirl. Feel the paper rustle, see the bright colors, and let your dragon dance in your hands, sparking curiosity and playful creativity.

The Tavel House offers a delightful storytime club for children. Join us to listen to shimmering winter tales and warm up as we chase away the winter months.

As part of the Plan-les-Ouates Cultural Season, the Singe Diesel company presents a poetic and enchanting performance. Join the journey of a hurried old man who learns to savor time through encounters along his path. Set against the backdrop of a frozen carnival, the stunning puppets and immersive soundscape whisk the audience away on a magical adventure, encouraging them to slow down and find wonder. Founded by Juan Perez Escala, the company draws from magical realism and popular culture to craft captivating shows.
