An intimate programme by five musicians that traces Portuguese song across centuries, from fervent 20th‑century folk to the ornate lines of Renaissance court singers. Led by vocalist Sofia Pedro and instrumentalists Tiago Simas Freire (flutes, cornet, bagpipes), Filipa Meneses (viola, rabel), Bor Zuljan (lute, guitar) and Rui Silva (adufe, pandeiro, bells), the performance blends rhythmic drive, modal melodies and delicate ornamentation. Presented in collaboration with the Ateliers d’ethnomusicologie and AMR, supported by the City of Geneva and Fonds culturel Sud.
