Animuse geologists present research on paleontology and Earth history, drawing on fieldwork and geological analysis to interpret the end-Cretaceous fossil record.
They examine competing hypotheses for the end-Cretaceous extinction — asteroid impact, massive volcanism and ecological stress — and review the evidence from fossils and sediments. The talk explores how these interpretations shape our understanding of biodiversity loss and the deep-time processes that have shaped life on Earth.
