Jump into a bright world of color and pattern inspired by Marie Ducaté. Explore playful vases, soft watercolours, mischievous animals and big, colorful textiles. Touch fabrics, see bold shapes and try simple brush strokes. Then paint your own piece of fabric, mixing colors and feeling the texture with your hands. The session sparks curiosity and creativity through color, touch and movement, inviting little artists to experiment and make something they can proudly show.

“Ambre” is an engaging and interactive show that encourages children to reshape society through political creativity. Inspired by the season’s theme of children’s voting rights, this performance puts young participants front and center alongside Ambre, an actor, and a children’s rights expert. Blending elements of play, portraiture, and documentary, children in the audience are invited to explore and share innovative ideas from around the globe.

For BiblioWeekend 2026, the MEG library hosts events centered around the theme “Play,” with a special focus on Japan and East Asia. The lineup includes a continuous toy-making workshop throughout the day, a talk by Damien Kunik, a guided tour highlighting toys from the permanent collection, and a screening of “Little Nemo” as part of the Sunday cinema feature.

Follow Baby Tyler’s hilarious adventures as a tiny hero navigates a world built for grown-ups. Actress and puppeteer Ingrid Hansen turns everyday objects into lively puppets, animating a mischievous finger puppet live on camera and projecting the action onstage. The contemporary tale balances laughter and tenderness as Baby Tyler discovers resilience, problem‑solving and when to ask for help. Bright visuals, playful sounds and surprising interactions invite young audiences to imagine and empathize.
