They reimagine the fate of Emma Bovary, highlighting provincial ennui and marital dramas with wit and tenderness. This lively and intelligent performance breathes new life into a frequently misunderstood classic, demonstrating its ongoing relevance. The staging combines improvisation, voiceover, and absurd humor to engage the audience from start to finish. Written and performed by Broquet and Pouvreau, with direction by Edward Decesari.

Les Inoubliables festival in Geneva shines a spotlight on women composers past and present, from classical to jazz, through an eclectic programme of concerts, screenings, masterclasses, cine-concerts, round tables, and workshops for all audiences. It also carries out long-term initiatives such as residencies, score publications, and outreach activities, helping preserve and promote this rich female musical heritage.

Léa Pohlhammer brings Orlando to life in a monologue adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s renowned novel. This performance weaves storytelling, music, and direct audience engagement to delve into themes of interpretative freedom, identity, and femininity. Featuring a minimalist set and lighting inspired by William Turner, it challenges social norms and explores our relationship with gender, employing quotes from the novel, humor, and personal anecdotes.

30 September – 19 October

In “L’Aquarium,” Calaferte delves into the monotony and routine of a couple after many years together. Set during a fall evening, this comedy highlights how former passionate partners become unable to surprise each other, trapped in their daily lives much like fish swimming in circles in an aquarium. The humor emerges from everyday situations, skillfully captured by the author.
