KNOWER, a dynamic duo from Los Angeles, is shaking up the jazz scene by blending funk, electro-dance, and dubstep influences. Comprising the gifted multi-instrumentalists Louis Cole and Geneviève Artadi, the group is celebrated for their groundbreaking compositions, high-energy performances, and quirky music videos. Praised by legends like Thundercat and Quincy Jones, KNOWER has shared the stage with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Snarky Puppy. This summer, they present “KNOWER FOREVER,” featuring top Californian musicians and promising a scorching hot funk show filled with intergalactic harmonies and explosive energy.

Dogora

Dogora, composed by Étienne Perruchon, is a unifying musical work written in an imaginary language, Dogorien, transcending linguistic barriers. Caritas Genève has embraced this project as a symbol of overcoming communication challenges faced in its refugee housing programs. Under the direction of Martial Renard, the performance will bring together 300 artists, including choirs and soprano Claire Michel de Haas, with a mixed Caritas ensemble of hosts and refugees singing together in a shared language of music. Proceeds will support refugee housing and legal aid initiatives.

Agapé Festival – Ensemble Correspondances

Under the direction of Sébastien Daucé, the ensemble Correspondances pays tribute to Notre Dame de Paris with works by Campra, Veillot, Lalouette, Cosset, and Robert. Specializing in 17th-century French music, the ensemble combines historical accuracy with contemporary emotion. Their work involves the revival of previously unheard compositions and grand reconstructions, such as the Coronation of Louis XIV. Since its founding in 2009, Correspondances has become a key reference point, performing both in France and internationally, and is in residence at the Théâtre de Caen.

Agapé Festival – Golden Mass

Cappella Pratensis, an ensemble founded in 1987, specializes in the polyphony of the 15th and 16th centuries, focusing on the music of Josquin Desprez. By recreating the musical conditions of the Renaissance, the singers gather around a large lectern, using facsimiles of original sources. Their performances highlight Gregorian chant as the foundation of polyphony, emphasizing a flexible melody, the modal system, and the influence of language. The concert will be preceded by a discussion with Peter de Laurentis.

There would be a white painting, as blank as a clean slate, and three friends: Marc, Serge, and Yvan. One hates the artwork, another hesitates, and the third is preoccupied with his upcoming marriage. Around this painting, Yasmina Reza explores art, perspective, friendship, and even the meaning of life with a blend of humor and cruelty. Through sharp dialogue and biting wit, her play—translated into thirty-five languages and awarded two Molières and a Tony Award—delves into human contradictions. On stage, François Morel, Olivier Broche, and Olivier Saladin brilliantly bring this reflection on beauty and friendship to life.
