“A Star is Borgne” is a wild, satirical comedy on the film industry. When the director absconds with the funds, aspiring actresses auditioning for parts agree to participate in a pseudo ‘making-of’ segment for a portion of the film, working both in front of and behind the camera. They also find themselves standing in for the leading actress in a revealing scene, creating a tongue-in-cheek but affectionate portrayal of the film world and its occasionally artificial glamour.

Dogora, composed by Étienne Perruchon, is a unifying musical work written in an imaginary language, Dogorien, transcending linguistic barriers. Caritas Genève has embraced this project as a symbol of overcoming communication challenges faced in its refugee housing programs.
