Henri Vever (1854-1942), renowned Art Nouveau jeweler and author of “French Jewelry in the 19th Century,” was also an avid collector of Impressionist art, Japanese prints, and Persian manuscripts. The MAH holds pieces either created by Vever or once part of his collection. A panel discussion will bring together Camille Vever, Marie-Eve Celio-Scheurer, and Alexandra Dermange to delve into Vever’s history, the era he lived in, the passing down of his craftsmanship, and his connections to the MAH. The event will conclude with a presentation of artworks and a reception.
