The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. In captivity, Janus receives attentive care, resulting in an impressive lifespan of 26 years.

Follow a tender little creature who, having fallen from its nest, must learn that soft fur won’t let it fly and that its path lies on the ground. Braving seasons and elements, it walks step by step through encounters both hostile and kind, discovering its place in the world. The journey unfolds within a mechanical storytelling stage: a moving conveyor, dreamlike landscapes and chimera characters create poetic, animated tableaux that feed this curious hero’s adventures.

Wednesday 28 January, 15:30

Join storyteller and illustrator David Telese for a playful series of interwoven tales where quirky animals spin their own stories. Children will hear funny, moving and occasionally spooky fables that reflect human foibles, from friendship and mischief to acts of solidarity. The performance sparks imagination with vivid voices, gentle surprises and lively characters, and includes a small snack.

In French. Kids ages 4 and up.

28 January – 8 July

Creative workshops for children where they learn to make natural cosmetics—like fruity soaps and lip balms—using healthy, eco-friendly ingredients. These fun, hands-on sessions raise kids’ awareness of nature and ecology while letting them proudly take home their handmade creations.

Kids ages 6 – 12.

7 January – 18 February

Discover emotions through playful workshops using Kimochis, soft characters that help children name and share feelings. Create and sew your own Kimochi, listen to short stories, and practice gentle breathing and expressiveness. Activities mix hands-on making, bright fabrics, and soft sounds to encourage trust and communication. Children work in small age groups to explore feelings, build confidence, and practice speaking about emotions in a calm, caring space.

Wednesday 28 January, 15:00

Discover the secrets of 18th-century court fashion. Try picturing dresses with panniers so wide they brushed doorframes, fluttering lace and tiny black « mouches » on cheeks to hide buttons. Hear skirts rustle, feel itchy powdered wigs, and see glittering ribbons and embroidered details. Learn how ladies and gentlemen dressed from head to toe to stand out, and imagine stepping into a parade of colors, textures, and bold shapes.
