The Secrets of the Plants of Lake Geneva

Discover the fascinating world of aquatic plants in Lake Geneva. This animation invites you to explore the submerged herbaceous plants, veritable submerged forests that play an essential role in the lake’s ecosystem.

You will discover the emblematic species of Lake Geneva, why they are so important to the ecosystem and their role as indicators of the health of the lake. Finally, a practical identification workshop will help you to better recognise these species, which are essential to the lake’s biodiversity.
