Through discussions and fun activities, you’ll also find out more about what can be done to protect this precious ecosystem.

FILMARcito Itinerante offers a tour of short film screenings for children across various communes in Geneva. Running from January to June, this program takes young audiences on a journey through the music, history, nature, and dreams of the Latin American continent, promoting cultural diversity awareness and respect for ecosystems. Join a conversation within the temporary exhibition on music and sustainability. This discussion will tackle the environmental impact of musical practices from the perspectives of both listeners and artists, exploring ways to produce and consume music sustainably. We will also contemplate how we might experience music in the year 2080. This event is part of a monthly series that addresses environmental issues through the unique lens of the MEG.

Sunday 1 June, 10:15 & 11:15

Immerse yourself in a unique sensory journey that blends dance and sound, taking you on a voyage with the salmon people through the planet’s currents. This experience, born from the collaboration between Myriam Boucris of the Tohu Wa Bohu company and Alaska’s Ts’msyen artists Gavin Hudson and David R. Boxley, delves into the bond between the Ts’msyen people and salmon, while raising awareness about the climate crisis.

In French.  Ages 2 to 7, accompanied by an adult.

1 June and 6 July

“Baur en famille” invites children to explore the tales of extraordinary women from China. From Mulan to empresses and pirate women, our guide will share captivating stories of legendary heroines. A 45-minute storytelling visit awaits young and old alike.

20 April – 13 June

The FMAC is hosting Godzillab for a two-week creative workshop series tailored for kids.  Led by Estelle Germain, Fred Fivaz, and Kleio Obergfell-Thomaïdes, children will have the opportunity to design and craft giant monster posters for the FMAC’s exterior or create 3D dioramas inspired by extraordinary tales.
