Le Lasagne della Nonna revisits Swiss history through a personal lens, celebrating the often-overlooked contributions of Italian immigrant women. From the kitchens to the cradle, their labor — both hard and tender — helped shape the country’s economic boom and family life in the 20th century.

The Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève and La Cité Bleue join forces for an evening celebrating the release of artist Paolo Colombo’s book, “The Second Time”. The event kicks off with a panel discussion featuring Paolo Colombo, Andrea Bellini, Leonardo García-Alarcón, and Muriel Brandt, exploring the historical connections between the two institutions and Colombo’s artistic practice. Following the discussion, a rebetiko concert by Theodora Athanassiou and Alexandros Kentris will highlight this Greek musical heritage. The evening will conclude with a bar and book signings by Paolo Colombo.
As part of the Les Grands Interprètes series, pianist Víkingur Ólafsson will present a diverse program featuring works by Bach, Beethoven, and Schubert. Attendees will enjoy pieces such as Bach’s Prelude in E Major, several Beethoven piano sonatas, and Schubert’s Sonata in E Minor.
Jeune & Ambitieux presents an exciting concert at the Alhambra featuring Tayron Kwidan’s, Di-Meh, Comme1Flocon, and Ocevne. Tayron Kwidan’s captivates with his innovative Afro-pop/RnB style. Di-Meh, a pivotal figure in Geneva’s rap scene, is renowned for his dynamic stage presence and commitment. Comme1Flocon impresses with sharp rap and vocals, while Ocevne, a rising RnB star, stands out for her notable collaborations and powerful voice. Expect an evening filled with musical exploration and emotion.
The BBDR, under the direction of Mauricio Salamanca, pays tribute to the Buena Vista Social Club with a unique big band concert. This lively performance offers a fresh take on the iconic music from the cult film. The group features Cuban singer Armando Miranda “El Moro,” Swiss-Portuguese singer Marie-Anne Dias, and Peruvian percussionist Carlos Acevedo.
