After the screening, engage in a roundtable discussion with the winners of the Young Activists Summit 2025: Rena Kawasaki, Dev Karan, and Marina El Khawand. Moderated by Ioana Popp, the event is organized in partnership with the FIFDH and the Geneva Graduate Institute.

LES SŒURS LUMIÈRE, the feminist film club of the Bibliothèque Filigrane, returns to Les Cinémas du Grütli with a cycle of six screenings from September 2025 to June 2026. Dedicated to the courtroom drama, this new edition offers a feminist re-reading of the genre, highlighting the challenges women face when confronted with moral and repressive orders.

EA Geneva hosts bi-weekly lunches at Uni Mail, offering a space for exchanging ideas, discussing effective altruism, and fostering friendships. Participants bring their own meals and engage in conversations on a range of topics including biosecurity, global health, AI safety, psychology, philosophy, and politics. Newcomers are warmly welcomed, and small groups of 3 to 5 people ensure enriching discussions.

10 – 14 November

The 2025 Human Rights Week, organized by the Global Studies Institute at the University of Geneva, focuses on defending the rule of law through a diverse and thought-provoking program. Bridging law, political science, and history, the initiative explores contemporary challenges to the rule of law, including the concentration of executive power, weakening of checks and balances, and questions over the legitimacy of constitutional and supranational courts.

With the participation of students and institutional partners, the week offers around twenty events that invite reflection, debate, and action on legal, institutional, and civic tools to preserve and strengthen the rule of law at both national and European levels.

30 October – 16 November

The GPHG exhibition showcases 90 timepieces shortlisted by the Academy, accompanied by creations from students of watch design and interior architecture at HEAD – Geneva. Visitors can enjoy guided tours led by a watchmaking expert and participate in introductory watchmaking workshops. Children can engage in activities such as engraving and constructing sundials. Additionally, the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie offers a lecture on iconic watches.

23 September – 18 November

The MAH offers “Tango&Health” therapeutic workshops that blend Argentine tango dance with a museum visit. These sessions are designed for individuals with neurological disorders (such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, post-stroke) and their loved ones. The workshops feature Claire Rufenacht, a dance therapist; Pedro Ratto, a dancer; and Murielle Brunschwig, a cultural mediator. Registration is required at least 24 hours in advance.
