Postcard Workshops

As part of the Spring festival in Carouge, the Carouge Library is hosting two creative workshops. Join a watercolor postcard drawing session led by Anouck Fontaine, or participate in a poetry writing workshop with Clém Künzler. You have the option to choose either workshop, or both, and enjoy exchanging handwritten postcards. Open to all ages.

The “Club Ado” offers a unique space for teens who are passionate about books. Participants will share their favorite reads, discover lesser-known authors of youth literature, and delve into the behind-the-scenes world of publishing with insights from Bertille de Crevoisier, a seasoned book expert. Each session includes discussions, personalized recommendations, and the chance to explore diverse themes and standalone novels. Perfect for budding detectives, avid readers, and anyone seeking to be surprised by new literary adventures!

6 – 25 May

The Théâtre du Loup offers a fresh take on “Krazy Kat,” directed by Eric Jeanmonod, to celebrate the final season of the company’s founders. This theatrical adaptation, inspired by George Herriman’s renowned comic strip, explores the intriguing love triangle between a cat infatuated with a mouse, a dog smitten with the cat, and a mouse that relishes throwing bricks. Blending poetry and irony, the production gathers a talented cast for a touching and nostalgic experience.

Despite its natural beauty, Lake Geneva is faced with many forms of pollution that threaten its ecological balance, particularly that linked to plastics. Come and discover the different types of pollution affecting Lake Geneva, and gain a better understanding of their impact on the lake environment, fauna, flora and water quality. Through discussions and fun activities, you’ll also find out more about what can be done to protect this precious ecosystem.

5 March – 7 May

The Bibliothèque de la Cité offers playful workshops designed to explore the orchestra and its instruments. Each session focuses on a different instrument group, helping participants learn how they collaborate to produce harmony. While each workshop stands alone, attending all is encouraged for a comprehensive experience.
