Phénix is a unique dance performance that brings together the viole da gambe and contemporary dance in an unexpected dialogue. Featuring four dancers who engage with the rich sounds of this 17th-century string instrument, the performance is enhanced by electronic music from Arandel, creating a dynamic fusion of genres. Choreographed by Mourad Merzouki, the piece explores the contrast between different aesthetics, blending intimacy with energy to create a light, innovative work. Presented in collaboration with the Groove’N’Move Festival.
