OSR Jeunesse: Doudou-Concert

The Doudou-Concerts by the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande offer little ones aged 6 months to 3 years their very first live music experience, accompanied by an adult and their favourite teddy. In a warm and intimate setting, two musicians play close to the audience, creating a cocoon of sound that encourages exploration and wonder. Designed as a gentle sensory discovery, this unique project aims to spark curiosity and share the magic of live music from the earliest age.

The ASL is marking its 45th anniversary with the immersive exhibition “Léman, l’éveil d’un peuple” (Léman, the Awakening of a People). This exhibition chronicles the fierce battle to rescue Lake Geneva from suffocation between the 1960s and 2000, driven by the collective efforts of associations, scientists, fishermen, journalists, and institutions. It offers a journey filled with documents and personal accounts, reminding visitors of the power of individual action in protecting the lake. The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. In captivity, Janus receives attentive care, resulting in an impressive lifespan of 26 years.

Thursday 13 November, 11:00

Relaxed film screenings are being offered for audiences of all ages. The animated film “The Secret of the Perlims,” directed by Alê Abreu, tells the story of two agents, Claé and Bruô, on a mission to save the Magic Forest, promoting dialogue, respect, and environmental protection. This 70-minute screening is free and open to everyone aged six and up, without the need for a reservation. Attendees have the freedom to react as they wish, come and go during the viewing, with on-site assistance available.

30 October – 16 November

The GPHG exhibition showcases 90 timepieces shortlisted by the Academy, accompanied by creations from students of watch design and interior architecture at HEAD – Geneva. Visitors can enjoy guided tours led by a watchmaking expert and participate in introductory watchmaking workshops. Children can engage in activities such as engraving and constructing sundials. Additionally, the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie offers a lecture on iconic watches.

26 September – 12 December, some Fridays

This creative workshop for children focuses on movement discovery through dance, exploring ideas of weight, time, direction, space, and listening. The session allows kids to develop their own physical language while engaging with themes from the Geneva Museum’s exhibitions, including those from the history of science museum.

Storyteller Deirdre Foster invites children on a cozy time-traveling adventure at the Carouge Library. Young ones can enjoy bedtime tales while in their pajamas, cuddling their favorite toys, right before heading home for sleep.
