Mapping Festival: Reality Check Exhibition

Blurring the lines between virtual realms and physical experience, this immersive exhibition takes inspiration from video games and their cultures. Through interactive installations and works by artists like 1024 Architecture, Elise Aubisse, and Theo Triantafyllidis, visitors are invited to reflect on our evolving relationship with the digital. Step into the dome for a cinematic dive featuring ECAL student films alongside immersive pieces by Monocolor and Sergey Prokofyev.

The exhibition “Exoplanets – Science & Fiction” aims to reimagine how we view exoplanets by blending contemporary science with artistic creativity. This unique presentation is the result of a collaboration between astronomers from the University of Geneva and comic book artists, merging scientific discoveries with doses of science fiction, fantasy, and poetry. The exhibition is designed to captivate and emotionally engage visitors, making the visuals more thought-provoking and intriguing.

For its 60th edition, the Printemps carougeois festival invites you to embark on a journey—be it distant or introspective, into the past or towards the future. Whether exploring real landscapes or intimate memories, each adventure promises a unique story to tell.

10 February – 4 October

Editions Zoé, a Geneva-based publishing house, has launched nearly 400 authors, standing out in the French-speaking literary world. Their archives, held at the Bibliothèque de Genève, chart this journey from artisanal printing in 1975 to prestigious literary awards. This exhibition, in collaboration with RTS Archives and Interrail, invites you to explore this rich history of success and discovery.

Explore Geneva’s history in and around the Temple de la Fusterie through three insightful elements. Discover Jean Stern’s photomontage “Déplié,” a contemporary recreation of Konrad Witz’s “The Miraculous Draught of Fish.” Delve into historical panels that trace the story of the Reformation and the temple itself. Lastly, engage with “Un tableau mais pas que. La Pêche miraculeuse de Konrad Witz” by Anouk Dunant Gonzenbach, a book that revisits the artwork and its historical context. This project is spearheaded by the Protestant Church of Geneva in collaboration with various partners.
