Directed by Gabriel Alvarez, this revival brings back two landmark pieces from his company’s repertoire for the 40th anniversary of Studio d’Action Théâtrale. It pays tribute to Valère Novarina, animating the sonic, visual, semantic and rhythmic material of his language. The performance unfolds as a poetic origin tale that simultaneously suggests the birth of things and the approach of an ending, privileging vocality, dense textual textures and theatrical rupture.

Claudine (j’aime pas l’bonheur) is a re-creation by Marjolaine Minot that probes the ambivalence of happiness through intimate theatrical language. Follow Zuza, a bold little girl whose everyday moments swell into grand adventures: she eats while flying, grows larger than the planet when angry, and finds a loyal crocodile companion. Spirale Workshops 1 and 2 showcase a thirty-year practice of transmission, research and intergenerational exchange.
