The masked ensemble combines physical precision, sculptural play and delicate timing to evoke universal, timeless moments that touch all generations. This farewell programme traces Mummenschanz’s creative legacy in a sensitive, poetic staging.

Der Wald, Ethel Smyth’s one-act opera, unfolds a universal story of two lovers cursed by a jealous witch. Chelsea Zurflüh stars as Röschen with Isabelle Druet and Pierre Derhet, supported by Vincent Le Texier and an ensemble of singers. Raphaël Merlin and Celia Cano share musical direction, and the Le Motet choir joins with amateur reinforcements to broaden the choral texture. HEPIA students sign the scenography; the programme opens with the overture from The Wreckers.
