The Lenni Torgue Quintet is a playful, border-crossing jazz ensemble combining libertarian bebop energy, contemporary textures and Afro‑rhythmic drive. Centered on a vibraphone-inflected sound, the quintet weaves composed material and free improvisation, exploring the frontiers between jazz, contemporary avant‑garde and improvised music. Following Pray, Dance & Play (2022) and the forthcoming Jeux de mains (2025), the group creates a bubbling alchemy that renews collective improvisation and reframes acoustic quintet formats, alternating incisive grooves and luminous, shifting atmospheres.
