Léman Bouquet Festival

Conceived and directed by Ágnes Havas, this itinerant festival combines cycle-tourism with a rich musical programme. Concerts range from classical and baroque to opera and jazz, presented across lakeside stages that dialogue with the landscape. The project foregrounds sustainable cyclo-tourism and cross-border artistic cooperation, pairing performances with local gastronomy. Lighting and acoustic choices favour intimacy and clarity, while artists of international calibre create moments of contemplative lyricism, conviviality and sensory immersion around the rhythms of the lake.

The programme draws on the El tango album and works by Astor Piazzolla, Aníbal Troilo, Carlos Guastavino and Eladia Blázquez, alternating nostalgic milongas and stormier tangos. Sparse arrangements and warm bandoneón tones unfold a cinematic, nocturnal atmosphere, where lyricism and longing meet. Presented by Los conjurados as part of the BORGES 2026 project.

Directed by Serge Postigo, this musical adaptation of Alexandre Dumas’s masterpiece follows Edmond Dantès from betrayal and imprisonment to reinvention as the Count of Monte-Cristo. Starring Gjon’s Tears and Philipinne Lavrey with a company of over twenty performers, the production blends sweeping songs, dynamic choreography and bold scenic design to explore themes of love, loss and calculated revenge. Intense, theatrical and emotionally charged, the show foregrounds strong vocal performances and cinematic staging.

Written and performed by Jihad Darwiche, this spoken-word recital gathers personal memories and testimonies to portrait everyday Palestinians who resist erasure. Through intimate storytelling and vivid character sketches, the piece explores themes of dignity, hope and tolerance amid conflict, and the effort to protect children’s smiles. Sparse staging and a concentrated vocal performance foreground human resilience and solidarity, offering moments of quiet emotion and shared witness.

25 May – 19 June

Created collectively by the company À l’Ouest with Guillaume Pidancet, this inventive staging reimagines Charles Perrault’s Bluebeard for families. Performed in a mobile truck‑theatre that becomes a ‘suitcase of dreams,’ the production blends playful storytelling, poetic imagery and close‑up interaction to transform a dark tale into a gentle exploration of curiosity and trust. The intimate ensemble features Pierre Boulben, Hugo Braillard and Loubna Raigneau.

Led by conductor Dominique Tille, the Geneva Brass quintet joins forces with the all-female vocal ensemble Callirhoé in a programme that foregrounds the dialogue between voices and brass. The quintet acts as a “second choir”, extending vocal lines and expanding the ensemble’s sonic palette. Repertoire moves from luminous Bruckner passages to daring contemporary works, alternating lush harmonies and incisive brass colour. The result is an intimate yet powerful soundscape that highlights timbre, blend and expressive contrast.
