Leila Alaoui’s photography presents a humane, boundary-crossing vision that interrogates identity, migration and the lives of migrant workers. This exhibition brings together iconic series, rarely seen photographs and coherent photographic ensembles to reveal the dignity of her subjects and the visual language that frames their stories. Through portraiture and documentary practice, Alaoui explores gender, displacement and cultural interconnection with formal rigor and emotional clarity, forging intimate encounters that bridge histories and territories.

Antoine Piron-Meyer (Agni) presents paintings alongside archival documents and publications that trace his singular artistic trajectory. Combining realism, poetic imagery and rich imagination, his canvases evoke mythic, often Bosch-inspired narratives while archival photographs and documents illuminate his mural and public-art engagements and teaching practice.
The exhibition balances intimate studio works with documentary materials to reveal how historical references, urban interventions and pedagogical commitments shaped a multifaceted practice. Curated by his niece Anouk‑Eva Meyer, it invites reflection on artistic continuity and urban cultural history.

Vladimir Kartashov presents site-specific installations that unfold across historic island spaces, exploring temporal sequences and memory. Through sculptural interventions, architectural adaptations and subtle interventions in sacred interiors, the artist stages a choreography of objects and light that reconfigures perception of place and time. The series juxtaposes material rigor with ephemeral gestures, inviting reflection on duration, ritual and the layered histories embedded in built environments.

Zoe A. Keller and Batia Suter reactivate the Eranos Archive in a collaborative project that blends critical essay and photographic installation. Keller’s research interrogates archetypal image systems and proposes the concept of the “anarchetype” to unsettle fixed classifications, while Suter juxtaposes historical Eranos images with contemporary-period photographs. Together they examine ideological contradictions and heterogeneous visual encounters of the interwar archive, opening a fictional conceptual field that foregrounds the archive’s historical vulnerability and the politics of visual classification.

Marie Ducaté presents Simultanés, an installation that transposes the spirit and traces of her studio into a theatre of objects. Combining ceramics, tracing paper, watercolor, textile and glass, the work sits at the intersection of pop culture and art history. The installation foregrounds a chromatic range from vivid colour to transparency and investigates the sensuality of materials, inviting close attention to texture, surface and the intimate relationships between form and materiality. Zoe A. Keller and Batia Suter present a collaborative project that reframes the Eranos archives—about 3,000 archetypal images compiled by Olga Fröbe-Kapteyn and held at the Warburg Institute—as material for critical and photographic inquiry.
Taking the form of a critical essay and a photographic installation, the work questions and re-signifies these images, confronting their entanglement with universalist and violent ideologies. The artists propose the notion of the ‘anarchétype’ to reveal archetypal figures as unstable cultural constellations.
