As part of the Plan-les-Ouates Cultural Season, the Singe Diesel company presents a poetic and enchanting performance. Join the journey of a hurried old man who learns to savor time through encounters along his path. Set against the backdrop of a frozen carnival, the stunning puppets and immersive soundscape whisk the audience away on a magical adventure, encouraging them to slow down and find wonder. Founded by Juan Perez Escala, the company draws from magical realism and popular culture to craft captivating shows.

Play with clay and tiny shapes as you explore round, shiny buttons. With a ceramic artist, press, pinch and paint your own little buttons, choosing bright colors and playful patterns. Hear soft taps, feel smooth clay, and watch color appear as you decorate. The activity encourages tiny hands to try new textures, invent stories about their buttons, and share creations with friends. Simple steps guide each child to make a keepsake they can show.

Watch six wordless animated shorts that follow animals, insects and falling leaves. Feel the rustle of paper and soft music as drawings, origami and puppets bring tiny stories of friendship and help to life. Children will spot bright colors, gentle movements and small gestures. They can imagine voices, tell their own endings and share reactions with family. This quiet, visual storytelling invites curiosity about nature and the small acts that connect us.

Settle in for a lively collection of short films made especially for children. Travel from one tiny world to another through colorful images, funny voices, and surprising sounds. Laugh at quirky characters, feel the wonder of new places, and imagine big adventures from short stories. This screening opens doors to different cultures and playful ideas, inviting kids to watch, think, and share reactions with family and friends.

Join an interactive family workshop focused on screen usage, featuring a variety of games and activities. Engage in a memory game comparing screen and non-screen scenarios, a family card game tackling planned obsolescence, a smartphone-themed writing workshop, and explore materials on screen impact with family management tips. The workshop runs alongside the book sale at the Bibliothèque de la Cité, providing a platform for meaningful discussions around digital devices.
