“Tuning in – The Acoustics of Emotion” is an exhibition that delves into the connections between sound, voice, heritage, and humanitarian action. Utilizing sound archives and collections from the International Committee of the Red Cross, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and the International Museum of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, the exhibition explores which voices we preserve, their significance, and the role of music in humanitarian efforts. It features soundtracks, historical recordings, posters, photographs, prisoners’ objects, and artworks both historical and contemporary.

8 May – 12 July

The exhibition “L’herbier de la mémoire” at Espace Muraille showcases the creative works of Laura De Bernardi, Gergana Mantscheva, and Laura Sánchez Filomeno. The artists delve into themes of memory, identity, and nature using botanical specimens, embroidered roots, and painted plants, reimagining the herbarium as both a poetic and archival gesture. Their pieces interact with each other and the exhibition space, providing insight into cultural memory, individual expression, and the symbolism inherent in the plant world.

 

15 May – 27 June

The Centre des Arts showcases a rare selection of Chu Teh-Chun’s works on paper, emphasizing calligraphy and ink. These pieces reflect his profound connection to Chinese roots and spontaneous gestural expression. Designed as an educational experience, the exhibition delves into the artist’s intimacy, his approach to space and movement, and the interplay between ink and material.

15 May – 28 June

Geneva-based multidisciplinary artist Alexandre Bianchini delves into painting, collage, photography, video, and installation. As a co-founder of Forde, his works are marked by isolated elements set against bold color fields, challenging illusion and narrative. His pieces, both dense and enigmatic, question perception and present a layered visual language that invites reflection and doubt.

17 April 2025 – 17 April 2026

The exhibition invites you on a journey through anatomical models, casts, waxworks, and illustrated antique books. Modern tools like microscopy, medical imaging, and 3D printing uncover the inner workings of organs, currently utilized by medical students at the University of Geneva. This is a collaboration with the University of Geneva. Some images may not be suitable for younger or sensitive audiences.
