Led by the five-member ensemble o Mavros Frynos, this one-hour concert journeys through Greece’s musical landscapes, from the frenetic rhythms of the islands to the melancholic songs of the mainland. The programme blends folk and traditional forms into vivid, danceable passages and quieter, song-led moments. Performers Areti Buhler (accordion), Sophie Märki (mandolin), Geraldine Brown (flute, voice), Gabriela Loza (percussion, voice) and Sophie Clio Richard (violin, mandolin, voice) shape textured arrangements that evoke sea air, ritual and longing.
